Pediatric CPR Training with Red Cross Certification
California law stipulates that one staff person at all times with the children in a Childcare setting maintain current certification in Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid. We specialize in this infant and child CPR classes whether renewal or first-time training of your staff.
All topics covered in the class have supportive handouts and text, either from EMSA (nebulizer info) or our CPR certifying body (Red Cross). These items are also available 24/7 from our website’s Resource Library Page.
Certification cards for infant CPR classes and child CPR training classes using any one of the certifying bodies are all valid for 2 years.
The Child Care Course Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 United States, and specifically EMSA regulations for our California clients. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a young adult, child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
It covers pediatric-specific first aid skills such as finding the problem, stopping bleeding, bandaging and using an Epi-pen, as well as Asthma Care Training for Child Care Providers, and other industry-specific topics from teeth knocked out, bites/stings, nose bleeds, and any of your questions. 🙂
We take pride in providing you and your staff with a fun, engaging, easily remembered class so you’ll feel confident if a pediatric emergency would arise. The course content ends up being the same. The certifying card you receive and the cost of the class are the basic variables.
